This banner idea was birthed after I met a wonderful lady at the Burlington Animal Shelter. My husband and I went there to meet an Alaskan Malamute that we were thinking of fostering. After talking to Barb for just a little while, I knew I wanted in on this special ministry. Ministry? YES!! You know Barb says that God was the first animal rescuer, He built the ark, right?
The Animal Alliance causes public awareness of the animals available for adoption at nearby animal shelters. You know, some of these shelters are so over crowded that after a certain amount of days, they have but no choice to "put the dogs to sleep". This is very sad. The Alliance are those folks you see sitting outside your neighborhood Pet Smart with the doggies in cages on the weekends. This banner tells folks that they are actually saving a life when they adopt a pet.
